Indian central government going to tighten the rules for the new users of social media accounts. This is due to reduce spam users or fake accounts to misusing in the social elements.
Now it is often a touch difficult for you to use social media. The central government goes to tighten the principles for opening all social media within the country, like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter and TickTock accounts. the govt has decided that now no account is going to be opened without biometric identification. during this regard, preparations for lawmaking have intensified.
Sources within the IT ministry say that lately fake news, rumours, non-communal news and indecent comments on women have increased in social media. To stop fake accounts by misusing social elements. Now there’s a readiness to introduce a replacement law only to tighten such issues. This new law has been drafted. It is often introduced in Parliament soon after cabinet approval.
The new user must provide information about themselves before opening an account in any social media accounts. In this, it is often made mandatory for the user to verify the telephone number added to his email ID. Also, Internet companies are being asked to verify the situation of users. this may reduce cases of making fake accounts. At an equivalent time, rumour-grabbing is going to be possible.
